Big fire at Styrofoam warehouse in Gia Lam, many people panic

According to initial information, the fire broke out at 7:39 a.m. on August 5 at Khang Trang Styrofoam Company (Le Chi Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi).

The burned area is 3 rows of factories used as foam warehouses in Gia Lam, Hanoi.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at the warehouse storing foam and plastic in Khang Trang Company. Immediately after that, the fire spread, causing black smoke to rise dozens of meters high, causing panic among local residents.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Gia Lam District Police dispatched fire trucks and forces to the scene.

By 10am, the fire was basically under control. According to the reporter's observation, the burned area was 3 rows of factories, each area was about 200m2.

The metal roof above was severely damaged by the high temperature. Firefighters are still spraying water to cool and prevent the fire from spreading. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
