Firefighters pulled out hoses to put out the fire, trying to prevent it from spreading.

Also tonight (March 17), at around 7 p.m., a votive paper shop at the old Cai Be market on Trung Nu Vuong Street, Cai Be Town, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province suddenly caught fire. Fire and smoke billowed from the house when the door was closed and the owner was away.
When the fire was discovered, people living in the surrounding area called the authorities, broke down the door, and used measures to fight the fire but were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, 3 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police quickly arrived at the scene to put out the fire.
