Mr. Klaus Zellmer said that Skoda Auto Group is the largest car manufacturer in the Czech Republic, privatized in 1991 and became part of the Volkswagen Group (Germany). Skoda Group is currently present in more than 100 countries, achieving sales of over 1 million vehicles/year and holding an important position in the Volkswagen Group's electric vehicle development strategy.

Considering that the current cooperation results of Skoda Group in Vietnam are only initial results, Chairman Klaus Zellmer hopes to have more "pieces" to complete the overall picture of Vietnam's automobile industry. This automobile group wants to expand investment, business, and develop the automobile industry ecosystem in Vietnam such as battery production and input products and equipment. At the same time, he hopes that Vietnam will continue to develop infrastructure such as seaports, logistics and improve the quality of human resources serving the automobile industry.
