(Dan Tri) - The patrol and dyke guard force, who do not receive salaries from the budget, will be paid by Ninh Binh province to perform their duties when there is a flood warning of level I or higher.
The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has just issued a decision regulating remuneration levels for the force patrolling and guarding dikes during flood season in the area.
According to the decision, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province regulates the remuneration level and funding source for the patrol and dyke guard force during the flood season for river dykes classified and graded according to regulations in the province.

The subjects of application are the dike patrol and guard forces according to the establishment and mobilization decisions of the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to participate in the task of patrolling and guarding dikes when there is a flood warning from level I or higher for rivers with dikes in the area (belonging to the subjects not receiving salaries from the State budget).
The remuneration level is specifically regulated as follows: The remuneration level paid to a person participating in patrolling and guarding the dike during a daytime patrol shift (12 hours/shift) is equal to 1.5 times the average working day calculated based on the basic salary level according to current regulations of the Government;
The remuneration paid to a person participating in patrolling and guarding the dikes during a night shift (from 6:00 p.m. the previous day to 6:00 a.m. the following day) is calculated as twice the average working day based on the basic salary according to current regulations of the Government;

The remuneration levels specified in Point a and Point b of this Clause shall be adjusted when the Government adjusts the basic salary level.
The funding source for remuneration for the dike patrol and guard force comes from the provincial budget, the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund and other legal funding sources (if any). The remuneration provided to the dike patrol and guard force will take effect from November 20.
