The Office of the Hanoi People's Committee has just announced the Conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan at the meeting to review the detailed planning plan for 3 old apartment buildings in Ba Dinh district, including Thanh Cong, Giang Vo and Ngoc Khanh.

Regarding Thanh Cong Residential Area, the city requested Ba Dinh District to conduct further research on connecting Thanh Cong Lake space with flower gardens and trees in the reconstruction area, and expanding internal roads.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi Duong Duc Tuan suggested that Ba Dinh district study the construction of several high-rise buildings near Giang Vo and Kim Ma streets to create a larger commercial and service complex.

Ba Dinh District also needs to study a plan to synchronize architectural space, landscape and infrastructure in the area west of Giang Vo Lake, ensuring compliance with the detailed planning at land plot No. 148 and the overall detailed planning of the old apartment complex.

Ngoc Khanh apartment complex currently has 58 buildings from 2-4 floors, built before 1994, with about 6,500 residents. Many of these buildings have deteriorated.

Building A of Ngoc Khanh apartment complex (Ngoc Khanh ward) is considered a level D dangerous apartment building. Many houses have been relocated, but some households still live there.

Regarding Ngoc Khanh Residential Area, the city requires Ba Dinh District and the consulting unit to re-study the functional space and infrastructure plan to ensure that there is no disconnection. The District needs to have specific solutions for the Kim Ma area and the TOD area of ​​​​S9 station, while also creating a traffic axis combined with landscape, connecting Ngoc Khanh Lake with Giang Vo Lake.

The Hanoi People's Committee also requested Ba Dinh District to study the impact on the commercial and service areas along Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, ensuring the connection of projects and avoiding dispersion.
