Vehicles needing to travel through Duong Bridge go in the following directions: Ha Huy Tap - Dang Phuc Thong - Provincial Road 179 - Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway - Phu Dong Bridge - Thanh Tri Bridge and vice versa; or Ha Huy Tap - Dang Phuc Thong - Provincial Road 295 - National Highway 18 - Vo Nguyen Giap - Nhat Tan Bridge or Thang Long Bridge and vice versa.

In addition, vehicles can choose the direction Ngo Gia Tu - National Highway 5 - Ly Son - Dong Tru Bridge - Truong Sa - National Highway 3 or Truong Sa - Hoang Sa to go to Nhat Tan Bridge, Thang Long Bridge and vice versa, or Ngo Gia Tu - National Highway - Ring Road 3 - go to Thanh Tri Bridge or Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway.

At 8:00 a.m. today, Vietnam Railways Corporation stopped running trains across Duong Bridge (Km9+667) on the Hanoi - Dong Dang railway line until the water level recedes to a safe level.

Duong Bridge is a road and railway bridge across the Duong River, on the old National Highway 1, connecting Duc Giang ward in Long Bien district with Yen Vien town (town) in Gia Lam district, Hanoi.

This is a major traffic route with many vehicles passing through. The bridge is seriously degraded.
