" My family cooks fish all year round, then packs it in styrofoam boxes and sends it to customers. Every month I cook about 2,000 pots. During Tet alone, about 4,000 pots of fish are sold and sent to customers across the country. If the customer is in the South, the pot of fish will be sent to Noi Bai airport to be loaded onto the plane ."

Mr. Tran Huy Tan, Vice Chairman of Hoa Hau Commune People's Committee, said that the commune currently has 6,000 households, of which nearly 300 households produce and process braised fish.

“For the past 10 years, the fish braising profession has brought a stable income to many people in the commune. Some families have built spacious houses and have a more prosperous and comfortable life thanks to the traditional fish braising profession being put into business, including exporting to foreign countries,” said Mr. Tan.
