In order to meet the requirements of operational innovation, Dak Nong Provincial Post Office has proposed a reorganization plan according to the regional Post Office model.

In that spirit, units with adjacent administrative boundaries will be merged to reduce the number of management units. That is, the number will be reduced from 8 district post offices to 4 regional post offices.

In 2024, the labor productivity of employees at the Provincial Post Office will reach 81 million VND/person/year. The average income of employees will be 5.6 million VND/person/month.

This helps reduce intermediate management levels, reduce indirect labor, increase direct production labor, as well as sales force to boost business activities for the entire unit. At the same time, it reduces costs, increases productivity, and increases income for workers.

The reorganization of the entire industry's operations is carried out according to the principle of transferring the status quo of operating areas, post office networks, communal cultural post offices, exploitation, delivery and related resources to the new regional Post Office.

The new model of Dak Nong Post Office operates on the basis of merging district post offices.

“The process of handing over operations to the new model of the entire provincial Post Office ensures that production and business activities are not disrupted and that service provision to customers is not affected,” said Mr. Le Van Hung, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Post Office.

By the end of 2024, the total number of employees at the Provincial Post Office is 281 people. Of which, 141 people have official labor contracts and 140 are contract workers.

Efficiency and convenience

Determining that streamlining the apparatus is an urgent and important task, right from the policy's inception, Dak Nong Provincial Post Office immediately began implementing the tasks.

Gia Nghia - Dak Glong regional post office was merged from Gia Nghia City Post Office and Dak Glong District Post Office.

Up to now, new regional post offices have been formed one after another. That is: Gia Nghia - Dak Glong regional post office was merged from Gia Nghia City Post Office and Dak Glong District Post Office, starting operation from January 1, 2025.

Dak Mil - Dak Song regional post office was merged from Dak Mil district post office and Dak Song district post office. Cu Jut - Krong No regional post office was merged from Cu Jut district post office and Krong No district post office. These two regional post offices also came into operation from March 1, 2025.

As for the Dak R'lap - Tuy Duc Post Office, the merger process is being implemented and will be quickly completed in the near future.

After streamlining the apparatus, fixed labor costs of Dak Nong Post Office will decrease by nearly 120 million VND/year.

Thus, after completing the reorganization process, the number of district post offices will be reduced by half. At the same time, management and production activities will operate in a direction without administrative boundaries at the district level. Units will have conditions to reorganize production and arrange labor more flexibly, not limited to the scope of a district.

Mr. Le Van Hung, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Post Office, informed that the new model will help the unit have a larger scale and be more flexible in arranging production and personnel, especially when there are fluctuations in labor.

This also contributes to stabilizing production, improving the operational efficiency of the apparatus and achieving the production and business goals of the entire Provincial Post Office.

Dak Nong Provincial Post Office also determined that streamlining the apparatus is just the first step in the roadmap of innovation and development. In the coming time, the unit will continue to apply information technology in management, operation and expansion of services.

Incense costs will decrease by more than 960 million VND/year. Planned labor productivity is expected to increase by 22% compared to the plan.
