On June 20, a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training inspected preparations for the 2023 high school graduation exam in Da Nang.
Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, said that up to this point, the examination council in Da Nang City has completed the preparation of facilities and listed 29 official examination sites and 2 backup examination sites.
According to Mr. Thanh, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City is continuing to train staff and teachers on duty for the upcoming exam.
"Learning from experience in exam supervision in previous years, the Department has especially emphasized on training exam supervisors and supervisors to prevent cheating using high technology," said Mr. Thanh.
At the meeting, Ms. Ngo Thi Minh, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, assessed that the locality has proactively arranged and organized suitable testing locations. Ms. Minh reminded Da Nang to ensure a safe, secure, impartial and objective exam to help candidates achieve the highest efficiency.

Exam sites need to pay attention to security and safety such as fire and epidemic prevention, exam transportation, and exam printing. The place where candidates store their personal belongings must also ensure a distance from the exam room and the exam paper storage area,” Ms. Minh suggested.
Regarding the high school graduation exam, the Department of Transport of Da Nang City has announced a plan to temporarily suspend the operation of some trucks during the high school graduation exam to prevent and avoid risks of traffic accidents.
Specifically, the city temporarily suspends the operation of all types of cars pulling trailers, semi-trailers, dump trucks (tipper trucks) on all routes in the city, except for the following routes: Hai Van - Tuy Loan Tunnel, La Son - Tuy Loan, Hai Van Pass Road, Ta Quang Buu, Nguyen Van Cu (section from Ta Quang Buu Street to Hai Van Pass Road), National Highway 14B (section from the border of Quang Nam province to Hoa Cam overpass), Hoa Cam overpass (including two access roads on both sides of the bridge), National Highway 1 (section from Hoa Cam overpass to the border of Quang Nam province), Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway.
Vehicle ban time on June 27 (13:00-16:30). On June 28 and 29, the city prohibits the above types of vehicles from operating in the morning (6:00-7:30), noon (9:30-14:30) and afternoon (15:30-18:00).
The Da Nang Department of Transport requested the City Police to take the lead in implementing a plan to ensure traffic safety during the exam period.
