Previously, social media users spread a clip recording a man wearing a motorbike taxi driver's shirt fighting with a male security guard there.

At that time, the male security guard holding a plastic chair rushed into a fight with the man holding a helmet. During the scuffle, the man wearing a motorbike taxi uniform dropped his helmet. At this point, the male security guard did not stop but continued to hit the man repeatedly with the chair.

On the same afternoon, the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) confirmed the above information and added that the incident occurred at 12:05 p.m. At that time, Mr. HTH (born in 1981, security guard) discovered a male motorbike taxi driver smoking in the area of ​​the atrium, within the metro station.

Fearing that the driver's cigarette butts might cause a fire if they threw them on the grass, the security guard came to warn them. However, due to losing their temper, a conflict arose between the two sides.

MAUR is coordinating with Binh Tho Ward Police (Thu Duc City) to clarify the incident and handle related parties according to regulations.

MAUR representative said that Ho Chi Minh City is in the dry season, the area around the metro line has a lot of dry grass so it is very easy for fires to occur. Previously, on March 19, a grass fire broke out in the Thu Duc station area, the station staff discovered and promptly extinguished it.

This unit hopes that people will take precautions in fire prevention and fighting, not burn trash or smoke within the protection area of ​​urban railway line No. 1.
