This is a traditional, annual activity every Tet holiday, Spring of Nhan Dan Newspaper and ministries, departments, branches, Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, units, enterprises, economic groups, Vietnam Post Corporation, Central Press Distribution Company... coordinated to implement in recent years.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that despite the economic difficulties, the collective of Party journalists has actively and proactively coordinated to complete the task well, expanding the distribution of Nhan Dan Newspaper to the grassroots, localities and units. In particular, the Nhan Dan Tet Giap Thin 2024 publication was distributed with a total quantity of 225,000 copies.
This year, with the support and contribution of Vietnam Post Corporation and the Central Press Distribution Company, Nhan Dan Newspaper has donated more than 40,000 copies of the 2024 Giap Thin Tet newspaper to the Border Guard Command, Navy Command, Coast Guard Command, Military Region I Command, Military Region II Command, Military Region III Command, Military Region IV Command, Military Region V Command, Communications Command, Air Defense-Air Force Command, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army... These publications will be delivered to officers and soldiers who are working day and night to protect the Fatherland on remote islands and border areas of the country.
"This is a meaningful spiritual gift that the team of Party journalists and units give, to share and promptly encourage soldiers who have to celebrate Tet far from their families and homeland, to perform the duty of guarding and protecting the country's borders, seas and islands," comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized.
Representing the units receiving the Spring newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Xuan Huong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department, Navy Political Department expressed his sincere thanks to Nhan Dan Newspaper and accompanying agencies and units for organizing the meaningful newspaper giving activity to officers and soldiers at the border and islands.
Affirming that this is both a document for soldiers to cultivate their ideology and also a priceless spiritual gift, a valuable source of spiritual encouragement, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Xuan Huong highly appreciated the publication Nhan Dan Xuan Giap Thin 2024 with rich content, beautiful images, contributing to encouraging officers and soldiers while performing their duties, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
