(CLO) On the afternoon of February 3, in Hanoi, the Party Committee and the leadership of Nhan Dan Newspaper held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); award 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges and summarize and reward Party work in 2024.
At the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Agencies, Editor-in-Chief, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association reviewed the process of establishment, training, dedication and growth of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam created an important turning point, deciding the development of the nation, ending the crisis in the direction and organization of the leadership of the patriotic movement in Vietnam in the early years of the 20th century.

During the 95 years under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have created historical miracles, going through the era of fighting for national independence and building socialism (1930-1975); the era of national unification and renovation (1975-2025). And now, we are entering the era of national development, starting with a major event - the 14th National Party Congress.
The Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper said that 2025 is a year with many important events for our Party and nation: the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding; 50 years of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification; 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, 80 years of the founding of the country... In particular, 2025 is the last year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress with forecasts that there will be many difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress is an important task that the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army focus on implementing, because this Congress opens a new era of development, an era of national growth.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh pointed out that the key task of the entire Party Committee in 2025 is to focus on propagating the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress; organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; promoting propaganda on Party building and rectification, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Focus on propagating the policy of streamlining the apparatus, improving the efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency of the political system's operations; protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

The Party Committee also focused on implementing Decision No. 218 dated December 28, 2024 of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of Nhan Dan Newspaper, specifying it through regulations on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of departments, units, and operating regulations; promptly stabilizing the organizational structure and personnel to ensure smooth and effective implementation of political tasks; promptly reporting to the Central Committee on necessary organizational and personnel mechanisms and policies to ensure the streamlining of the apparatus and personnel of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
At the same time, focus on newspaper economics, linking innovation of publications with attracting distribution and advertising, especially advertising on electronic newspapers; implementing special issues; building specialized pages on economics; proactively expanding the search for more resources from publishing, distribution, advertising and other sources of revenue; expanding domestic and foreign cooperation...
The Party Secretary of Nhan Dan Newspaper requested that the Party Committee and key cadres raise awareness of self-cultivation, training, promote self-criticism, criticism, honesty, and objective self-assessment, setting an example for cadres and Party members to follow. At the same time, regularly and effectively inspect and urge the strict implementation of the Party Charter, Party regulations, State policies and laws, and internal rules and regulations of the agency.

At the ceremony, the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper organized the awarding of 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges; and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Party Committee of Central Agencies to Party members of Nhan Dan Newspaper Party Committee who have excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023).
On this occasion, 4 party members of Nhan Dan Newspaper Party Committee were honored to receive the Medal "For the cause of building the Party Committee of the Central Agencies".
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper also decided to award Certificates of Merit to 6 Party Committees and affiliated Party cells that met the criteria of "Excellently completing tasks" in 2024 and 91 Party members who excellently completed tasks in 2024.
