Nam Dinh is in Group G with Bangkok United (Thailand), Tampines Rovers (Singapore) and Lee Man Warriors (Hong Kong - China).
Nam Dinh Club defeated Lee Man Warriors in the first match.

Asian Cup C2 group stage format
The AFC Champions League 2 features 32 teams divided into 8 groups. The top 2 teams from each group qualify for the round of 16. The group stage and knockout stage of the AFC Cup Winners' Cup are divided into two sections, the Eastern (EH) and Western (AD) zones. Therefore, the final will definitely feature representatives from both zones, with the Western team playing at home.
In the group stage, teams compete in a round-robin format twice to determine their ranking (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss). In the event of two or more teams being equal on points, the following sub-indices will be considered: head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals, goal difference and total goals scored in the group stage.
