DNVN - On March 12, the Economic Police Department of An Giang Province Police said that it had just coordinated with functional agencies to inspect, detect and seize a large quantity of drugs, supplementary feed and environmental treatment products in aquaculture suspected of poor quality in Long Xuyen City.
Accordingly, at around 2:30 p.m. on March 10, the authorities conducted an inspection of NUTRITION GOODLIFE Vietnam Co., Ltd. (address: 22 Trinh Hoai Duc, Binh Khanh Ward, Long Xuyen City), with Nguyen Xuan Mao as director. There, the police discovered Nguyen Van Toan (born in 1980, residing in Ninh Binh Province, Mao's employee) mixing raw materials and packaging finished aquatic medicine products branded BIO MAX.

Checking the warehouse, the authorities seized dozens of packages of medicine and food supplements with many different brands, along with labels and packaging for production. At the same time, checking the rented room on Ly Van Phuc Street, Binh Khanh 5 Hamlet, Long Xuyen City rented by Mao to store goods, the police continued to discover more raw materials for production.
During the investigation, Toan admitted that Mao instructed him on the formula for mixing and packaging the products. All of the above goods did not have a production or circulation license and had not been declared of quality according to regulations.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by the authorities in accordance with the law.
