In 2024, Brigade 127 has thoroughly grasped and deployed synchronously, with a focus on key aspects of training work. In particular, focusing on training to improve professional expertise and comprehensive capacity for the subjects; attaching importance to practical training, basic training, and task-based training; training closely following the plan, combat subjects, battlefields, organization, and existing technical equipment. Completing 100% of the training content, programs, and time for the subjects according to plan, testing live ammunition for 100% good and excellent lessons, ensuring absolute safety.

In 2025, the Brigade will focus on training according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid", attaching importance to synchronous, specialized, and modern training; closely combining military training with political education, building a regular system, and managing discipline; making breakthroughs in training "Basic, mastery, and specialized in exploiting and using weapons and technical equipment; improving the quality of cadre training"; taking the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and building a "Revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern" Army, Region, and Brigade as the training goal.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Do Van Yen acknowledged and commended the achievements of Brigade 127 in 2024 and requested officers and soldiers of the unit to continue to thoroughly grasp the situation, tasks, directives and resolutions of superiors, organize serious, strict and effective training, and ensure absolute safety.

The Deputy Political Commissar of the Navy noted that the Brigade needs to do a good job of educating and raising awareness among officers and soldiers about training tasks; strictly maintain combat-ready forces and equipment; strengthen long-distance training, coordination training, training to master modern and existing weapons and technical equipment; well implement the contents and targets of the emulation movement in training; strive to achieve the status of a well-trained, comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" unit, successfully completing all assigned tasks.
At the ceremony, Brigade 127 launched a peak emulation campaign with the theme "Lightning Speed - Determined Victory" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Navy and to welcome the 16th Congress of the Party Committee of Brigade 127 for the 2025-2030 term.

On this occasion, the Navy awarded a Certificate of Merit to Brigade 127 and Colonel Pham Luong Hao, Brigade Commander of Brigade 127 for his outstanding achievements in the peak emulation campaign "Celebrating the Party, celebrating spring, launching the campaign to win".
On the same morning, units of the Naval Region 5 Command from the mainland to the islands also held the 2025 training launch ceremony.
