On November 16, in Da Lat City (Lam Dong), the 44 best listed enterprises in information transparency in 2024 were honored at the 17th Listed Enterprise Awards Ceremony (VLCA) - 2024.
Awarding the Top 20 Best Annual Reports
The event was held in conjunction with the 2024 Annual Listed Enterprises Conference, with the participation of representatives of nearly 300 listed companies, securities companies, fund management companies and other financial institutions in the market.
After nearly 6 months of voting, surpassing more than 500 listed enterprises on both exchanges, the Voting Council selected 44 excellent enterprises in 3 categories of Annual Report (BCTN), Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Report to officially honor.
More than 300 businesses attend the 2024 Listed Enterprises Conference
For the BCTN category, this is the second year that VLCA has applied the registration to participate in this category. Accordingly, 96 listed enterprises registered and met the requirements to participate. The voting council selected the 30 best enterprises to honor, including 10 financial enterprises and 20 non-financial enterprises.
The organizers added that the average score of the reports scored in 2024 was 72.16 points, a slight increase of about 5.19% compared to 2023. Most annual reports scored between 70 and 90 points. Notably, the percentage of businesses with reports scoring high between 80 and 90 points increased significantly compared to last year. Therefore, although the number of annual reports registered for the award in 2024 decreased, the quality level this year was more even.
For the financial group with the number of reports participating in the assessment not fluctuating much, the average score was 74.32 points (up 2.30% compared to 2023), the highest score was 93.79 points (up 3.44% compared to 2023). For the non-financial group with the number of reports decreasing, the average score was 71.39 points (up 5.70% compared to 2023), the highest score was 93.41 points (up 2.70% compared to 2023).
Financial enterprises focus on risk disclosure, risk management models, bad debt assessment and efficient capital use. Meanwhile, non-financial enterprises stand out with sustainable development initiatives such as energy saving, resource management and material reuse...
