3 Vietnamese candidates won medals at the 2023 International Biology Olympiad.
The 34th International Biology Olympiad this year was held at UAE National University in Al Ain, UAE from July 2-11, 2023 with the participation of 80 countries, territories and 2 observer countries, with a total of 295 contestants.
According to the regulations of the 2023 International Biology Olympiad, students will take 4 practical exams (Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Plant Molecular Biology, Ecology and Behavior) on one exam day; 2 theoretical exams on two different days. This year's exam is considered interesting and good but difficult, long and contains a lot of new knowledge for Vietnamese candidates.
According to the assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training, this result affirms the quality of general education and the right direction in the work of discovering, selecting and nurturing excellent students of the Ministry. At the same time, it demonstrates the efforts of students, teachers and schools.
It is expected that the Ministry of Education and Training will welcome and congratulate the achievements of the delegation participating in the 2023 International Biology Olympiad at Noi Bai International Airport at 13:30 on July 12, 2023.
