The General Department of Sports and Physical Training is proposing to add the names of two taekwondo athletes Nguyen Ngoc Minh Hy and Hua Van Huy to the list of those to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal. At the 32nd SEA Games, the martial arts duo Minh Hy and Van Huy won gold medals in the creative team event. This is the third consecutive time that both have won the SEA Games in this event.

If approved by the State Emulation and Reward Council, the two athletes will receive the Third Class Labor Medal after the State celebrates their achievements in the sports sector on May 23.
The basis for the sports industry to build the proposed list is the content of Circular No. 01 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on regulations on reward standards for athletes and coaches with outstanding achievements at international sports tournaments, issued in 2015.
