On the morning of January 18, the Trade Union of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks (KKTNS & CKCN) of Thanh Hoa province held a ceremony to receive the Third Class Labor Medal.
Authorized by the President, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Vo Manh Son awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union of Science and Technology.
The KKTNS & CKCN Trade Union currently manages 114 grassroots trade unions with 86,373 union members. Over the years, the KKTNS & CKCN Trade Union has done a good job of taking care of the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Notably, the KKTNS & CKCN Trade Union has focused on building, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements at enterprises. To date, 112/112 enterprises (100%) have successfully built and signed collective labor agreements, including many provisions and terms that are more favorable to workers than those of the Labor Code. In particular, in July 2024, the Trade Union of the Industrial Zones and Industrial Parks successfully negotiated and signed a collective labor agreement with 7 shoe manufacturing enterprises in the Industrial Zones and Industrial Parks of Thanh Hoa province, with a total of nearly 65,000 workers benefiting.

The trade unions at all levels of the Industrial Zones and Industrial Parks have continuously researched, innovated, proposed and organized activities that bring many benefits to union members. In the period of 2018-2024, the trade unions at all levels of agencies, units and enterprises visited and presented gifts to 40,065 union members and employees in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents and illnesses, with a total amount of more than 23.5 billion VND; presented 51 "Union Shelters" with an amount of 2.11 billion VND...

In particular, the KTNS & CKCN trade union has built and deployed many new models such as: 3V model (For workers - For trade union organization - For sustainable development of enterprises) at 3 units; Book club with workers at 3 units; worker culture corner at 7 units; park company model at 3 units; Pregnant women and young children club at 3 units; organizing movement activities from trade union groups at 7 units... The models create a spread in the activities of KTNS & CKCN trade union levels, contributing to innovation, improving the quality and efficiency of trade union activities, meeting the needs and aspirations of workers in improving the spiritual and material life of union members and workers.

In 2024, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union of Science and Technology was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Vo Manh Son praised the results that the Provincial Trade Union of Economic and Technical Services has achieved in the past time. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Trade Union of Economic and Technical Services should focus on further innovating its working methods with the goal of improving the effectiveness of the trade union's activities, towards union members and workers.
