Specifically, in the petition sent to the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation, the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward, the Police of Khue Trung Ward (Cam Le District), the press and media agencies..., Mr. Dinh Tan Lap (representing more than 100 parents) wrote: "We are very sorry and sad that the club encountered an unexpected incident. But currently, according to the general opinion, the parents urge the authorities to consider the comments of the parents about the Seung Ri Da Nang Club. All of us parents would like to handwrite 4 copies of the comments of the club and the teacher personally, in addition to the parents writing their own letters with signatures, and the parents will save the scanned copies for necessary presentation to the press agencies.

Parents also earnestly hope that the authorities and the press can create conditions for a working session with all parents to present the views of the students as well as parents whose children are studying at the Club. We earnestly ask the authorities to motivate teachers and students to overcome the shortcomings and have a playground for the children after hard hours of studying in class."

In addition, parents talked about their children's psychology when they were forced to stop learning martial arts from January 14 (according to the decision to temporarily suspend the activities of the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward to verify the incident that parents reported), most of the students were looking forward to the day they could go back to martial arts.
"This week the kids kept asking: "When are you going to go back to martial arts class, Dad?". We are very sad and don't know what to say to them. We have children studying at the club and when we asked about the incident, the kids said that the club and the teacher love them very much..." , Mr. Lap wrote.
Martial arts class is a children's playground
Mr. Lap added that among the more than 100 parents who applied, there were families with 2-3 children studying martial arts. "The fact that the children could not go to martial arts classes because of the incident at the club caused a very bad mentality for the children. As parents, we are very sad when our children are sad, waiting every day to go to martial arts classes, to meet teacher Kin again... Because martial arts classes are not only a place to practice health, but also a place where children can have innocent smiles, beautiful childhood memories with teachers and friends," Mr. Lap told Thanh Nien reporter.
Mr. Dinh Tan Lap wrote in the petition: "We would like to hear from the press about the general opinions of parents and the support of the authorities to help Seung Ri Club have a useful playground for our children after hard days of studying. We sincerely thank you and sincerely hope to receive the understanding and listening of the authorities."
Before suspending operations at the request of the authorities, Coach Nguyen Van Kin had a meeting to discuss information related to the complaint letter and issued a notice to stop teaching martial arts from January 14.
Ms. Nguyen Thuong Hoai (parent of martial arts student Tran Chi Kien) said that after a long time of letting her son study martial arts at Seung Ri Taekwondo Club, she realized that Coach Kin is a person who loves children.
"The teacher not only teaches martial arts but also teaches children how to behave and be a good person, and learn many things in life. I really trust the teachers after letting my child study here. I really hope the martial arts class can be held again because it is a very useful playground for children," said Ms. Hoai.
As Thanh Nien reported, previously, the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation received a complaint from Mr. NTH (parent of student NTNM, 13 years old) about his son being beaten by a coach while practicing at Seung Ri Taekwondo Club (Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City) with Mr. Nguyen Van Kin as head coach and director.
According to the complaint, on the evening of January 9, when he picked up his son and discovered that he had been beaten, Mr. NTH used his phone to take pictures of all the marks on his son's body and reported the serious violation of the child's body to the Da Nang City hotline. At the same time, Mr. NTH took his son to the Khue Trung Ward Police Station for questioning. The Khue Trung Ward Police Station instructed Mr. NTH to take his son to the hospital to check for injuries. After the examination, Mr. NTH took his son back to the Khue Trung Ward Police Station to get a detailed statement from NTNM. In addition, this parent also provided the phone number of Coach Nguyen Van Kin at the request of the police. The police invited Coach Nguyen Van Kin to come and talk to him on the evening of January 9.
In a related development, on the morning of January 16, the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation (VTF) officially announced the revocation of the club code, taekwondo identification code and non-recognition of the professional activities of Seung Ri Club, the coach also received disciplinary action.
