After drinking milk tea at a shop near the school, 17 students had stomachaches and vomiting and had to be hospitalized.

On November 22, Thien Hanh Hospital (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) announced that it is treating 17 students suspected of food poisoning. These students are all in class 5B at Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School, Du Village, Ea Tu Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City.

Earlier, at around 3:40 p.m. the same day, the Emergency Department of Thien Hanh General Hospital (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak) received 17 students with symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting, and suspected food poisoning. Immediately upon receiving the students, the hospital mobilized a team of doctors and nurses to treat them.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Truc, homeroom teacher of class 5B, Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School, the students had previously drunk milk tea at a shop next to the school. When they entered the classroom, they all showed symptoms of suspected poisoning, so Ms. Truc informed the school leadership to help take them to the hospital for treatment.
