17 mass art troupes from police units, localities and the Ministry of National Defense participated in the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Festival in 2025 - Region 2, organized by the Ministry of Public Security in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.

On the evening of March 22, at the Dalat Opera House, the Ministry of Public Security opened the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Festival in 2025 - Region 2, with the theme "80 years - Glory of the People's Public Security".

This is one of the opening activities of a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

In his opening speech, Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee for Organizing the Mass Art Performance of the Ministry of Public Security, said that the performance had 87 performances by 17 mass art troupes from the police of various units, localities and the Ministry of National Defense. The content focused on praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho; love for the homeland and country; the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security force in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh and implementing the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security; praising the spirit of solidarity and unity of the police force, the army and the close attachment to the people.

“The festival is a festival for officers and soldiers working in culture and arts; it is a practical activity to encourage officers and soldiers in the entire People's Public Security force to enthusiastically compete to achieve achievements on the difficult and arduous front of ensuring security and order. The programs and performances aim to build and spread the beautiful image of police officers and soldiers who are “brave, humane, selfless for the country, serving the people”, Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay informed.

With the theme "80 years - glory of the People's Public Security", the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Performance in 2025 - Region 2 gathered 17 art troupes, with more than 900 actors from units under the Ministry of Public Security, 4 People's Public Security schools; public security of 11 provinces and cities in the region and mass art troupes of the Vietnam People's Army participating.
