Yen Bai meets to celebrate 72 years of Vietnam Photography Traditional Day

Yen Bai - The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) of Yen Bai province has just celebrated the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Photography Traditional Day (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2025) at Thac Ba Lake National Tourist Area, Yen Binh district.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Yen Bai Province Literature and Arts Association presented flowers to congratulate the Vietnam Association of Vietnamese Artists in Yen Bai Province at the meeting.

At the meeting, the photographers reviewed the 72-year tradition of formation, construction and development of Vietnamese photography and Yen Bai province; affirmed the role of photography; honored authors who have contributed to the photography career; created conditions for artists to exchange and share experiences in creating photographic works...

The Traditional Day of Vietnamese Photography is an opportunity for photography professionals in Yen Bai province to review their creative process, artistic activities and set out directions for future activities. The Vietnam Photographers Association in Yen Bai province currently has 21 members, of which 11 are members of the Vietnam Photographers Association. Every year, the association organizes many creative activities and exhibitions, contributing to promoting the image of Yen Bai land and people to all regions of the country. With the support of the State through the Fund for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation, the photography movement has been developing in both breadth and depth. Many creative activities and exhibitions have been organized, creating a playground for photography members. The team of young photography members has been increasingly supplemented, contributing to the photography movement... Thanks to that, in recent years, photography in Yen Bai province has achieved many achievements and high awards domestically and internationally; Always enhance the sense of responsibility to demonstrate professional skills, creative level, sense of responsibility for one's political tasks, join hands to contribute to the achievements of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

At the meeting, the artists exchanged and contributed many ideas to develop the creative movement, improve the quality of artistic photography works; exploit the rich topics in the homeland, create artistic photography works that leave an impression.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Yen Bai province announced the decision to admit members and confer the title of Vietnamese Photographic Artist (A.VAPA) on artist Tran Trung Hieu.
