Awarding 06 sets of prizes at the Provincial Youth Union and Association Sports Festival

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union delivered the closing speech at the Sports Festival.

After 2 days of exciting competition, nearly 500 athletes, who are Youth Union and Association officials from 12 units in the province, gave the audience many exciting matches in the following sports: Men's mini soccer, women's volleyball, mixed tug of war and badminton (competing in 3 events: men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles).

At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 06 sets of prizes, First, Second, Third and Encouragement to outstanding groups and individuals.

In mini-football, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises won first prize; Tieu Can District Youth Union won second prize; Tra Vinh City Youth Union won third prize and the Provincial Youth Union won the Encouragement prize. Athlete Tran Thai Nguyen, Tra Vinh City Youth Union received the "Top scorer" award.

In women's volleyball, Tra Cu District Youth Union won first prize; Chau Thanh District Youth Union won second prize; Tieu Can District Youth Union won third prize and Cang Long District Youth Union received an encouragement prize.

In the mixed tug of war, Cang Long District Youth Union won first prize; Tra Cu District Youth Union won second prize; Duyen Hai Town Youth Union won third prize and Tra Vinh University Youth Union won an Encouragement prize.

In badminton, the first prize was awarded to Pham Tuan Huy, Tra Vinh University (men's singles), Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Cau Ke District Youth Union (women's singles) and Lam Buu Khoi and Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Cau Ke District Youth Union (mixed doubles).

As a result, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises was ranked First; Chau Thanh District Youth Union was ranked Second and Cau Ke District Youth Union was ranked Third.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Director of Trung Ngoc Sports Complex, awarded the cup and championship title to the football team of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Standing Deputy Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union, awarded the "Top Scorer" award to athlete Tran Thai Nguyen.
