AVP journalists have a spectacular video showing the moment a Lancet suicide drone destroyed a Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 tank. The incident was captured by a Russian FPV drone and intelligence surveillance equipment.
Video shows the Lancet drone crashing straight into the rear of the tank, penetrating the armor and causing the ammunition inside the tank to explode.
The Leopard 2A was destroyed after a Russian attack.
According to AVP , the tank was damaged in previous fighting. It is believed that the tank hit a mine during an attack on Russian defensive positions in June or July. At that time, the Russian Armed Forces used tactics of penetrating Russian defenses with mechanized companies trained and equipped with Western equipment.
This video shows that even relatively modern NATO tanks are unable to withstand attacks from suicide drones.
The moment a Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 tank was destroyed by Russian fire was just released by AVP.
On August 22, AVP also reported on an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region. According to the report, this attempt by Ukraine was stopped by Russian fighter jets.
On August 22, the governor of the Bryansk region reported that a “sabotage group” of Ukrainian forces was attempting to enter the territory of the Russian Federation through the Klimovsky district. However, Russian units successfully repelled the attack and are now actively working to ensure security in the border area.
Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning a new offensive before winter sets in. According to AVP , Kiev is considering the possibility of stepping up offensive operations.
The Swiss publication Temps , citing information from the Ukrainian military, reported on potential Ukrainian plans to intensify offensive operations on the front in the coming weeks. One of the reasons for this decision could be the approaching winter and the expected heavy rains. This would significantly complicate the situation on the frontline.

“The coming weeks will be critical and tense. All signs point to the Ukrainian military taking decisive steps soon,” Temps said.
At the same time, it should be noted that during nearly 3 months of counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kiev failed to fulfill its assigned tasks, while Ukraine's losses were not small.
