Accordingly, the area around the old Eastern Bus Station, including Nguyen Xi Street, Ward 26, Binh Thanh District (HCMC) and Alley 153, National Highway 13, prohibits sleeper buses from entering from 6am to 10pm.

However, according to Tuoi Tre Online 's records on June 17 and 18, a series of sleeper buses of various bus companies still operated regardless of day or night.

These sleeper buses run from the parking lots that have sprung up around the Eastern bus station to Highway 13 and Highway 1 to the Central Highlands and Central provinces...

According to records at 5:00 p.m. on June 17, the Phuc Yen sleeper bus ran from parking lot 397, then crossed Dinh Bo Linh Street (Ward 26, Binh Thanh District) into alley 153 of National Highway 13 (connecting Dinh Bo Linh Street and National Highway 13), then headed towards National Highway 1, ignoring the no entry sign.

Local residents complained that every time the sleeper buses crossed the road, they blocked the flow of traffic from Binh Trieu Bridge to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, causing traffic jams during rush hour and posing a potential risk of accidents.

Just one minute later, the Hai Hoa sleeper bus also left parking lot 397 through alley 153 of Highway 13 and turned towards Highway 1.

In the above alley, in just 20 minutes, there were 10 sleeper buses from companies such as Thuan Thao, Cuc Tu, Gia Phuc, Dang Nhan... brazenly running during prohibited hours.

In addition, on June 18, it was noted that some sleeper buses in this parking lot were also picking up and dropping off passengers.

"Alley 153 on Highway 13 is already small, but sleeper buses keep speeding during rush hour, forcing motorbikes going in the opposite direction, which is very dangerous," a resident living in this alley was upset.

On Nguyen Xi Street (from Dinh Bo Linh Street to Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street), there is also a situation where sleeper buses often run during prohibited hours, making people frustrated.

According to records, sleeper buses running during prohibited hours on Nguyen Xi Street depart from parking lots on this route.

At 6:13 p.m., a sleeper bus of Thanh Huong bus company parked in parking lot number 13 Nguyen Xi street, ward 26, after picking up passengers, drove to Nguyen Xi street during prohibited hours, then turned onto Highway 13 to reach Highway 1.

It was noted that on this route, every 30 minutes, there were 6 sleeper buses of companies such as Thanh Huong, Thao Chi, Hung Thanh, Hung Nga... "carelessly" running during prohibited hours.
