Gasoline prices increase again

DNVN - After 3 consecutive price reductions, from 3:00 p.m. on March 20, gasoline prices started to increase again, pushing the price of RON 95-III gasoline - the popular type on the market - above 20,000 VND/liter.

During the operating period on March 20, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.

Accordingly, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (common type on the market) increased by 440 VND, to 20,080 VND/liter, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 410 VND/liter to a new price of 19,690 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, oil prices were adjusted up or down slightly. Kerosene increased by VND28/liter compared to the current base price to VND18,118/liter. Diesel and fuel oil decreased by VND5 and VND40, respectively, to VND17,893/liter and VND16,955/kg.

RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND 440 to VND 20,080/liter from 3:00 p.m. on March 20, 2025.

In the previous 3 consecutive periods, gasoline prices were adjusted down. In the most recent period, on March 13, gasoline prices were adjusted down. Of which, each liter of gasoline decreased by about 680-750 VND/liter, and oil decreased by 155-480 VND/liter or kg depending on the type.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market from March 13 to 19 was affected by major factors such as: US oil reserves decreased, tensions increased again in the Middle East, instability in US tax policy on goods from other countries, the order to stop attacks on energy facilities between Russia and Ukraine may soon be established... These factors caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down depending on each product in recent days.
