The two enterprises have just launched a project to deploy the SAP S/4HANA overall management system and Made by FPT IS solutions.
The cooperation is accompanied and supported by the Department of Enterprise Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the "Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project" (USAID IPSC). Accordingly, Vinphaco is one of 35 enterprises honored and provided with technical support to deploy some subsystems of the SAP S/4HANA software system.

Specifically, Vinh Phuc Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Vinphaco) and FPT IS will cooperate to apply core subsystems of the international standard SAP S/4HANA system for the pharmaceutical industry, along with 4 Made by FPT IS solutions to create a comprehensive management platform. FPT IS will deploy the FPT Mobile Apps solution including 3 applications (on IOS and Android) for 3 target groups: pharmaceutical representatives, delivery staff and customers.
FPT Mobile Apps is developed and deployed by FPT IS specifically for businesses in the field of pharmaceutical and consumer goods distribution. The solution supports the connection of pharmaceutical businesses with customers, promoting sales activities on traditional channels such as OTC (pharmacies), ETC (hospitals).

Vinphaco is one of the leading injectable drug manufacturers in Vietnam, with production lines for freeze-dried powder injectables, solution injectables, tablets of all kinds, and health protection foods according to GMP-WHO standards... Marking the 65th anniversary of establishment and development, in 2024, the company aims for total revenue of VND 1,020 billion. At the same time, Vinphaco expands its export market with contracts from 20 countries around the world, investing in new production lines and advanced technological processes.
The rapid expansion of production and operation scale entails the problem of upgrading the operational management system. The company has implemented the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system since 2012, and now needs to innovate to meet development requirements.
Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong, Deputy General Director of Vinphaco, shared that converting to an ERP system is a prerequisite for the company to move towards sustainable development. In the process of searching for an implementation partner, Vinphaco chose FPT IS - SAP's Gold Partner in Vietnam with more than 20 years of experience in implementing ERP to accompany in this important project. Cooperating with FPT IS and SAP Vietnam to deploy SAP S/4HANA solution and Made by FPT IS solutions is a step to create momentum to realize the digital transformation strategy roadmap 2024-2028.
