Expected to enroll nearly 500 talented candidates
Entering its 5th season, Viettel Digital Talent continues to expand its scale, creating conditions for students and trainees to research and orient their careers in 9 key technology fields: Cloud, Cyber Security, Data Science & AI, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Aerospace and Semiconductor. The program is expected to select nearly 500 excellent candidates at home and abroad, of which 50% will be retained as official employees at Viettel Group.
Students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and University of Engineering and Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi were able to experience and ask questions about the program directly with the Organizing Committee representative.
The program is designed by leading Viettel experts to help young talents discover their potential and develop their expertise in high-tech fields. The highlight of the program is financial support for interns, while also providing opportunities to directly participate in key practical projects at Viettel's specialized units - something rarely seen in many other technology internship programs on the market.
6-month intensive experience journey
During the first 3 months, students participating in the Talent Trainee Program (Viettel Digital Talent) will receive intensive training and career guidance and orientation by leading experts from home and abroad (Australia, USA, Singapore, Germany, Taiwan...) from universities and large technology corporations (Viettel, Google, Shopee...).
In the next 3 months, students will directly participate in large practical projects at Viettel units. With the scale of Vietnam's leading technology group, Viettel brings students a professional, systematic experience but no less interactive with teambuilding activities, exchanges, and connections with talented peers and seniors in the profession.

In 2025, the projects included in the program will be set by the Board of Directors of Viettel's centers and units, to ensure that the topics presented are all key problems, solving customer needs. At the same time, candidates in 2025 will be connected to the Viettel Digital Talent Alumni community established with more than 4,000 members from key universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and interns from previous seasons to receive direct consultation and test their abilities.
The program will also organize large-scale seminars at universities to share interview skills, complete application documents and support candidates to supplement and improve their skills, giving them a better advantage when graduating.
Mr. Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group, shared: "Viettel Digital Talent is not only to train human resources for Viettel but also comes from the desire to train technology talents for the country, serving digital transformation. With the foundation and knowledge gained here, they will be able to shine no matter where they are, in any field."
With the core mission of pioneering digital creation and becoming a global technology corporation, Viettel is investing heavily to improve the quality of human resources by improving the working environment and increasing the brand's attractiveness to talents in high-tech fields.
