On February 14, Vietnam Airlines Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the 2023-2028 period with MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation to expand production and business, develop sustainably; contribute to promoting the implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

Accordingly, MobiFone will be responsible for building digital infrastructure for Vietnam Airlines such as: cloud computing system, domestic and international connection infrastructure, dedicated and public telecommunications networks applying 4G, 5G technology... In addition, the unit will deploy digital solutions for partners including: electronic office, electronic contract, process automation (RPA), online meeting, data management...; digital services on payment, e-commerce, customer experience, operations management, data mining... The unit will also support, consult on the development and implementation of policies, programs, and plans to implement the digital transformation strategy for the airline.
Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines provides preferential aviation products and services for MobiFone employees and their relatives; prepaid air ticket packages, gift cards to serve internal travel needs and for MobiFone's partners and customers, and regular customer services dedicated to long-term connection programs.
In addition, both parties will introduce each other's products and services to customers and partners of each business; coordinate to promote each other's image and brand on media managed by both parties.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines, affirmed that through its global flight network, modern fleet and world-class service quality, the airline will bring new flight experiences to MobiFone's employees, relatives and partners. "The strategic cooperation will be effective, open up new opportunities and bring new successes to both sides. This is an important foundation for the two sides to move towards deeper cooperation in the future," he said.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Chairman of MobiFone's Board of Members, emphasized that the cooperation will help take advantage of and promote the strengths of each party in all areas of operation, optimize the use of utilities in the ecosystems of both parties, promote customer development as well as open up new opportunities and potentials.
"The two sides will work together on the digital transformation roadmap, aiming to provide customers with outstanding services, while promoting the construction of the country's digital economy," Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien added.
The strategic cooperation with MobiFone is one of the new steps of Vietnam Airlines to accelerate the digital transformation process, realizing the goal of becoming a digital technology airline. Currently, the airline digitizes service touch points, from information search, ground procedures to in-flight and after-sales services. The airline also focuses on the extensive application of information technology in management and production operations, with the upgrade of modern management software systems...
The airline continues to research and apply new technologies to improve passenger experience and increase production and business efficiency such as AI, big data, in-flight internet, automated customer care, etc.
Established in 1995, Vietnam Airlines plays a key role in air transport in Vietnam and the region, with air transport services on nearly 100 routes to more than 20 domestic destinations and 25 international destinations.
After nearly 30 years of development, MobiFone aims to become an information technology enterprise with three pillars: digital infrastructure, digital services/solutions and digital content. In the period of 2020-2025, the company will promote research and application of new technologies such as Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of customer care and provide solutions for all customer segments.
