According to the report, in the aviation sector, Vietjet is the airline with the highest brand value growth at 11%, reaching a value of 361.68 million USD. Vietjet's brand revenue also recorded an increase of 15% to 11,355 billion VND, equivalent to about 483 million USD.

Brand Finance rates airline brands as the ninth largest contributor to the ranking with a total brand value of $738 million, accounting for about 2% of the total value of all brands on the list. In addition, the total brand value of airline brands improved by 8%.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh, Deputy General Director of Vietjet received the certificate of most valuable brand in Vietnam 2023.

Vietjet continues to maintain its brand strength rating at AA+. With the certification as one of the most valuable brands in Vietnam, Vietjet affirms its positive contribution to the recovery and development of the country's economy after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vietjet's brand value recorded impressive growth in 2023 based on the airline's actual operations. In the first 6 months of 2023 alone, Vietjet safely operated 65,900 flights, transporting over 12.1 million passengers, including 3.5 million international passengers, up 26% and 30% over the same period.

In the first 6 months, Vietjet recorded consolidated revenue of VND29,770 billion, up 87% and completing 60% of the yearly plan. Ancillary revenue maintained high growth, reaching VND9 trillion, double the same period and contributing 40% of total revenue. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND387 billion, up 167% over the same period.

Vietjet contributed VND2,795 billion in direct and indirect taxes and fees to the budget in the first 6 months of 2023.

In addition, Vietjet has also received a BB+ credit rating with a stable outlook (VnBB+) from Saigon Ratings thanks to its flexibility in exploiting various revenue sources outside its core business, thereby helping the airline maintain positive profits during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vietjet continues to affirm its leading position in low-cost airline services globally, with two awards: “Best Low-Cost Airline with Inflight Services 2023” and “World's Best Ultra Low-Cost Airline 2023” voted by AirlineRatings.

By stably exploiting the domestic market, pioneering in opening international routes, meeting the trade needs between Vietnam and other countries, Vietjet is gradually affirming itself as one of the airlines operating effectively and with a strong financial foundation.

Vietjet has become a multinational airline, bringing about a boom in trade, developing tourism and enhancing cultural exchange at all destinations it connects to.

Vietjet's success in the international market has also helped the airline become known as an "aviation ambassador", always pioneering and actively connecting Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asian countries in general with nearly 100 destinations worldwide.
