Compared to the ranking of 100 countries with the best cuisine in the world in 2023, Vietnam's ranking this year has increased by 3 places, demonstrating the progress and strong impression of our country's cuisine in the hearts of international friends.
In addition, this year's Taste Atlas list of the 100 regions with the best cuisine in the world also includes cuisine from the Central region (27th) and the South of Vietnam (53rd).
The World's 100 Greatest Cuisines is a ranking within the framework of the annual Taste Atlas Awards , based on the votes and scores of culinary experts, chefs and diners around the world. In 2024, there were more than 400,000 votes and scores of cuisines submitted for this event.
Founded in 2015, Taste Atlas (headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia) is known as a map that brings together traditional dishes from around the world.
According to Matija Babić, founder of Taste Atlas , the food and beverage rankings are based on opinions and reviews from experts and food critics to ensure the reliability of the awards.
