Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance recruits 5,360 students with 4 methods: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, considering high school transcripts based on the combined score of 3 subjects in grade 12, considering transcripts based on the average score of the entire grade 12 year, considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test or the results of the V-SAT exam. In particular, with the transcript admission method, candidates need to achieve a score of 18 or higher when considering the combined score of 3 subjects in grade 12 and achieve a score of 6 or higher if considering the average score of the entire grade 12 year. This year, the school opened a new major in International Commercial Law.

Although the school trains in economics and finance, all admission combinations include Literature: Math - Literature - English; Math - Literature - Physics; Math - Literature - IT; Math - Literature - Legal economic education; Math - Literature - History; Math - Literature - Geography, Literature - English - IT; Literature - English - Physics, Literature - English - Legal economic education.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Bich, Director of the school's Information and Communication Center, said that candidates admitted to the school's training programs in 2025 will have their tuition fees kept stable for the entire course. The school's tuition fees are publicly announced at the beginning of the course and are committed to remaining unchanged throughout the course. Students with an IELTS certificate of 5.0 or higher are exempted from tuition fees for 3 English levels (about 30 million VND), and students with 5.5 or higher are exempted from tuition fees for 4 English levels (about 40 million VND).
