On the morning of August 22, under the chairmanship of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly Standing Committee continued the question-and-answer session on the implementation of the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023 for the second group of fields, including: Justice, internal affairs, security and order, social safety, inspection, court, and prosecution.
The question and answer session was connected online with 62 National Assembly delegations in provinces and centrally-run cities.

Regarding the internal affairs sector, the implementation of the merger of district and commune-level administrative units in the past time; solutions to remove difficulties after the arrangement of administrative units; solutions to promote the effectiveness of handling public assets after the arrangement of administrative units; progress in developing master plans for administrative units at all levels; information on the rate of attracting excellent students at the central and local levels; solutions for cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers at the commune level to enjoy full benefits when they leave their jobs due to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units...
Regarding the field of security, order, social safety, solutions to ensure urban order in the coming time; the Government's responsibility in continuously amending the law.
In the field of inspection, court, and prosecution, solutions have been implemented and changes have been made in the rate of requests to return files for additional investigation; solutions to enforce administrative judgments; breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of trials and settlement of cases; acceptance and settlement of recommendations after supervision...
Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long directly answered questions.
At the end of the question and answer session for the second group of fields, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh said: For this group of fields, a total of 39 National Assembly deputies spoke, of which 36 deputies questioned and 3 deputies debated. In general, the question and answer session took place urgently, enthusiastically, democratically, frankly with a constructive spirit and high responsibility. The National Assembly deputies focused on issues in the implementation of resolutions and hoped for better solutions to remove difficulties in the coming time. Ministers, members of the Government, and heads of sectors answered clearly and accurately the questions of the deputies, explained specifically the issues that the deputies were interested in and debated; seriously acknowledged the limitations and arising issues that need to be studied and resolved; proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of the Government, ministries, and sectors in the coming time.
In his closing speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man acknowledged and highly appreciated The seriousness, openness, and high sense of responsibility of Government members and sector leaders in answering questions and receiving opinions from National Assembly deputies. Through the reports sent to National Assembly deputies and through the questioning session, it can be seen that, basically, the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee have been seriously implemented by agencies with many synchronous solutions, creating positive changes and achieving specific results in most areas.
In addition, the implementation of some resolutions and tasks is still slow, some contents and targets in the resolutions have not been completed, have not met requirements, have slow progress, or still have difficulties and problems, which need to be promptly overcome, removed, and resolved in the coming time.
Propose that the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, ministers and heads of sectors continue to resolutely, synchronously and comprehensively implement the resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning, focusing on promptly, fully and effectively overcoming limitations in each field, actively contributing to promoting the building and improvement of institutions, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, foreign affairs and preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
