VTVgo application is identified by Google as a Government application

(CLO) On December 12, Google has just changed the categories of many mobile applications on CH Play. In which, VTVgo application is identified as a Government application.

The recognition of VTVgo's national stature by the world's largest mobile application store, in addition to the criteria provided by a reputable government agency, also requires scale, audience coverage, and influence on the public in the area where the application provides services.

VTVGo application is recognized by Google as a government application image 1 — Google formats VTVgo as a Government application.

The national online digital television platform VTVgo currently has 47 million installations with more than 1.6 billion views per year. In addition to 68 television channels, in the new development plan, from 2025, VTVgo will add pay TV channel packages, integrate public services, digital payments, interactions and affiliate marketing to effectively meet all needs for digital services of people and businesses.

Launched in 2014 with the initial goal of being an application that helps viewers watch VTV programs completely free of charge, after the process of construction and completion, VTVgo has become a familiar application with tens of millions of viewers across the country and around the world.

VTVgo is available on all app stores for mobile devices and smart TVs. The app has had 47 million installs and is always in the top list of most downloaded apps.

With the coordination, support and direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications, VTVgo has been integrated into smart TVs manufactured, imported and distributed in Vietnam since 2024. Some major TV manufacturers have pre-installed the VTVgo application on the main interface of their TV screens.
According to Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, Vietnam Television has also worked with TV manufacturers so that from 2024 there will be a VTVgo shortcut key on the TV remote, thereby helping viewers conveniently watch TV programs on VTVgo.
