A statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fired from Lebanon exploded in the coastal town of Caesarea early on the morning of October 19 (local time). The attack targeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private home in Caesarea.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife were not in Caesarea at the time of the attack and there were no reports of casualties.

"A drone was launched towards the Prime Minister's private residence in the town of Caesarea. The Prime Minister and his wife were not there at the time of the incident. There were no casualties after the incident," the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said on October 19.
However, the announcement did not clarify whether the UAV hit Mr. Netanyahu's residence. Sirens did not sound in Caesarea before the UAV crashed and exploded.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that three UAVs were launched from Lebanon into Israeli territory on October 18, of which two targets were shot down. One UAV penetrated the air defense net and "hit a structure" in the town of Caesarea.
It is not yet clear whether the building hit by the UAV in the IDF's announcement is Prime Minister Natanyahu's private residence. The IDF said it is investigating the incident, as its warning system was not activated when the UAV struck.
Also on October 19, Hezbollah forces simultaneously launched many attacks using both missiles and drones on Israel.
Hezbollah launched about 55 rockets at the Upper, Western and Central Galilee regions in northern Israel this afternoon, the IDF said in a statement this afternoon. The attack injured at least two people, although most of the rockets were intercepted by Israeli air defenses or fell into open areas.
This is considered the most intense rocket attack by Hezbollah on Israel in recent days. Previously, the Lebanese armed group mainly carried out small raids with only a few rockets at a time, raising speculation that Hezbollah may have run out of rockets or had difficulty organizing large-scale attacks against Israel.
In Lebanon, the country's Ministry of Health announced that two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike this morning on the Jounieh area in the north of Beirut. This is the first time the north of Beirut has been attacked since Israel launched a large-scale airstrike campaign on Lebanon early on September 23.
