The year 2024 will especially mark the strong impression of Agribank's youth with the spirit of initiative, creativity and volunteerism.

The highlight of the year was a series of extensive volunteer activities, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and social responsibility of Agribank youth in accompanying people affected by storm Yagi. In the past September, the northern provinces experienced historic storms and floods, causing serious damage to people and property... In the midst of grief and loss, solidarity and mutual love were promoted and spread like an underground stream throughout, creating great strength to help people in disaster areas overcome all difficulties. Agribank's on-site volunteer youth teams quickly supported people in cleaning roads and houses, preventing epidemics; repairing damaged equipment and machinery at agencies and units; participating in transporting food and provisions to support people in areas with difficult travel... Trucks loaded with goods, carrying the affection of tens of thousands of Agribank youth union members, worked day and night to cross mountains and passes to reach people in flooded areas...

These small but meaningful actions contribute to vividly portraying the beautiful image of Agribank youth in difficult times of the country, while continuing to spread the values ​​of humanity and sharing with the community throughout the system. Recognizing the contributions of the youth volunteer movement to the community and, in particular, the Agribank Youth Union was honored by the Central Youth Union as one of the top 10 collectives with outstanding achievements at the 2024 National Volunteer Awards.

Pioneering digital transformation

The revolutionary movement "Creative Youth" has always been one of the strengths of the Agribank Youth Union. And the combination of "Digital Transformation Year 2023" with "Youth Volunteer Year 2024" has fanned the flames of enthusiasm and volunteer spirit of Agribank's youth, spreading widely, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate, creating good results that clearly demonstrate the enthusiasm and creativity of the youth and the compatibility of the Union's activities with the development trend of the country.

The whole delegation registered more than 1,000 innovative topics and ideas, of which 02 innovative products of Agribank Youth Union were recognized and commended by the Central Enterprises Union for applying information technology in production, business and service activities, contributing to improving business productivity at Agribank.

The digital transformation imprint of the Youth Union is vividly demonstrated through the Digital Technology Team model, "going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every person" to support customers in "authenticating by biometrics", opening accounts, opening payment cards and installing and using the Agribank Plus e-banking application; strengthening information, propaganda and guidance on cashless payments, skills in using safe banking services; raising customer awareness of cyber security risks and fraudulent activities in cyberspace. In 2024, Agribank Youth Union members across the system, together with all levels, have helped thousands of customers escape high-tech scams, protecting assets worth tens of billions of VND in customer accounts.

The journey of efforts and struggles of Agribank's youth has created a strong source of inspiration and motivation, becoming a large-scale movement in society, spreading and moving the community. The year 2024 marks a proud journey of Agribank Youth Union with many outstanding achievements in many fields, excellently completing and exceeding the targets assigned by the Bloc Youth Union. Agribank Youth Union was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union; Emulation Flag of the Central Enterprises Youth Union for Units with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2024. Along with that, 4 grassroots Youth Union Secretaries were awarded certificates of merit by the Central Youth Union; 18 affiliated Youth Union bases, 15 Youth Union officials received certificates of merit from the Bloc Youth Union.

The year 2024, marking the 93-year glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the young generation of Vietnam, is the second year of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, the Resolution of the 4th Agribank Youth Union Congress and an important "pivotal" year towards the 11th Agribank Party Congress, term 2025-2030. The theme "Year of Youth Volunteers" is considered the guiding principle for all activities of the Agribank Youth Union. This call has aroused the spirit of vanguard, social responsibility, contributing to the sustainable development of Agribank. Keeping in mind the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, "wherever there is a need, there is youth, wherever there is difficulty, there is youth", in any historical period, generations of Agribank youth have always strived to constantly strive, train and contribute, excellently completing all assigned political tasks.

The year 2024 has witnessed the comprehensive development of the young generation of Agribank in all aspects of work. The Agribank Youth Union has been honored to be trusted by the Party Committee and leaders of Agribank, assigned many important tasks and has worked together to excellently complete many assigned tasks. With 182 affiliated Youth Union units (including 142 grassroots Youth Unions and 40 affiliated grassroots Youth Union branches), nearly 15,000 union members and young people across the system, the Agribank Youth Union model is equivalent to the district level, directly under the Central Enterprise Bloc Youth Union (CBO), is a pioneering, shock force, a reliable reserve force of the Party, contributing to the overall development of the entire Agribank system.

In order to operate the Youth Union and youth movement in a practical and profound manner, closely associated with youth union members throughout the system, on December 26, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Agribank Party Committee established the Agribank Youth Union Agency, advising and assisting the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Youth Union in leading and directing the Youth Union and youth movement at Agribank. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Agribank Youth Union issued over 500 documents and instructions from the Central Youth Union, the Youth Union of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the Agribank Party Committee to the affiliated Youth Unions; Organized inspections and supervision of 8 grassroots Youth Unions and 74 Youth Union branches to improve the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements at the grassroots level. The Youth Union successfully organized the congresses of 100% of affiliated Youth Union branches, ensuring the set schedule, promptly completing the key Youth Union cadre apparatus of the entire industry.

The important highlight is the concretization of the Party's Resolutions for youth development work, integrating specific activities with revolutionary action movements. With the goal of linking the work of the Youth Union with expertise, the Agribank Youth Union launched many emulation movements "Youth follow Uncle Ho's words", arousing the spirit of emulation, learning and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. Many good, practical and effective models have appeared and have been put into use. Many examples of good people, good deeds, and typical advanced examples such as "Talented Youth of Agribank"; "Excellent Youth Union Secretary" ... have become the nucleus and driving force to promote the development of the emulation movement.
