The APacCHRIE Association, part of International CHRIE (ICHRIE), is a non-profit academic organization dedicated to advancing education, research, and business practices in the hospitality, tourism, and food and beverage (F&B) industry. Through conferences, academic journals, and exchange and internship opportunities, ICHRIE conducts a wide range of specialized activities in seven regional branches around the world, including: APacCHRIE (Asia-Pacific), EuroCHRIE (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and branches in the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Officially approved by APacCHRIE to become a member of the Association and to represent Vietnam in the organization, Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh attended the annual APacCHRIE Council meeting in Bangkok (Thailand) in January 2025. Following that, Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh will participate in the APacCHRIE 2025 Conference scheduled to take place in May 2025 in Chiang Mai (Thailand) with many activities aimed at promoting connectivity and sustainable development in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Education. This will mark an important milestone in Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh's ambition to put Vietnam's Tourism Education on the world's Tourism Education map.

Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh graduated with a PhD in Tourism - Hospitality from the School of Hotel & Tourism Management (SHTM), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong PolyU) - one of the top universities in the world and Asia for Tourism training, specifically:
- Ranked No. 1 in the world according to Shanghai Ranking 2024,
- Ranked 1st in Asia according to QS Ranking 2025.
Working at Duy Tan University since 2009, Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh has held many management positions at the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of International Training, Faculty of Tourism and is currently the Head of the Graduate Department. Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh has taught many generations of students majoring in Tourism, and has conducted scientific research and had many international ISI publications in the Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism, Journal of Tourism Insights, Anatolia - International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research, etc. At the ISTTE 2024 Conference - the 43rd annual conference organized by the International Society of Travel & Tourism Educators (ISTTE), Dr. Minh was awarded the Best Case Study award for the topic " Strategic Influencer Marketing to Affluent Millennials " or "Strategic Marketing through Influencers to Affluent Millennials".

Working hard in the field of Tourism, Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh has made important contributions to training human resources in the Tourism industry and participated in many important projects such as:
- Member of the project "Developing Da Nang City Tourism Brand 2013" of Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center in cooperation with Duy Tan University;
- Development of Entertainment Services in Da Nang City in the period 2015 - 2020, orientation to 2030;
- Participate in the project "Building a development plan for the entertainment industry in Da Nang" with the Da Nang Department of Tourism;
- Members of the two scientific research projects of the National Science Foundation of Korea include many professors from Seoul National University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Indiana University.
