The exhibition was held at Da Nang College of Commerce with the participation of more than 300 officials, lecturers, students, union members and youth from the University of Physical Education and Sports, College of Commerce and College of Economics and Planning, Da Nang.
Attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Chu Quang Vinh, Political Commissar of Brigade 172, Naval Region 3; Dr. Nguyen Tri Vu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of the College of Commerce, representatives of the Da Nang City Youth Union, and Hoang Sa Exhibition House.

At the opening ceremony, delegates were introduced to and visited a photo exhibition on the legal basis and historical evidence of Vietnam's Hoang Sa archipelago; and images of the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands by maritime forces.
Also at the opening ceremony, the reporter of Naval Region 3 provided information on the current situation in the East Sea; the results of the Vietnam People's Navy's protection of sea and island sovereignty; the viewpoints and policies of our Party and State in protecting sea and island sovereignty and resolving disputes at sea.

This is an important activity that contributes to raising awareness about the sea and islands as well as building awareness and responsibility among students and youth union members for the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation. The photo exhibition takes place from September 16 to September 21.
