Deploying foreign information work tasks in 2025

This afternoon, February 19, the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Work (SIP) held a conference to evaluate the results of activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Work Nguyen Dang Quang chaired the conference. In 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee for Information Technology will closely follow the important goals and tasks of the province and issue documents to lead, direct and implement information technology tasks. Continue to effectively implement the central government's directives on improving the quality and effectiveness of information technology work in the new situation.

The Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Affairs organizes training courses to update knowledge on external information work in 2024 with a variety of rich and diverse contents and topics. Directs agencies, departments, branches and localities to develop plans to effectively implement external activities and external information work.

Publishing quality bilingual Vietnamese - English TTĐN document No. 14/2024, reflecting the potential and development achievements of the province, contributing to spreading information and images of the potential and strengths of Quang Tri.

In addition, members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Information and Communications actively and effectively carry out assigned tasks. Information and Communications work is always directed promptly and comprehensively, achieving outstanding results, in line with local realities.

The key task in the coming time is that the Provincial Steering Committee for Foreign Affairs continues to thoroughly grasp, inform and effectively propagate the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party and State on foreign affairs and foreign affairs. Strengthen coordination between agencies and units in foreign affairs management; improve the effectiveness of foreign information and propaganda work, and connect the Vietnamese community abroad.

Comprehensive information on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in all fields, outstanding political, cultural, social and foreign affairs events of the year; major holidays and important historical events of the Party and the country, of the province; achievements during the 13th Party Congress in particular and in nearly 40 years of national renovation in general. Continue to promote and introduce the image of the land and people of Quang Tri to domestic and foreign friends.

Directing at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang emphasized that 2025 is a year with many especially important political, cultural and social events, so it is necessary to further strengthen the work of information dissemination to meet the requirements and tasks set out.

In the coming time, the Steering Committee for Information Technology and its members, departments, branches and localities need to be proactive, flexible and creative to further improve the effectiveness of information technology. Focus on re-evaluating the practical work and effectiveness of international cooperation to prepare for the summary of information technology work for the 5-year period 2020 - 2025.

Leaders of agencies and units need to step up propaganda work, promote the internal strength of all classes of people in building their homeland and country. Widely propagate the results that Quang Tri province has achieved and the aspiration to rise up with the country.
