Since April 30, 1975, Ho Chi Minh City has continuously strived to overcome difficulties to stabilize and develop, becoming a major center of economics, finance, trade, culture, science - technology, innovation, education - training of the Southern key economic region and the whole country, an important gateway connecting with the region and the world.

Discuss the shortcomings and limitations in all fields, the causes that need to be overcome, the practical experiences that need to be drawn and propose breakthrough tasks and solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time to mobilize the combined strength, effectively exploit the potentials and advantages, have a strategic position, arouse pride in the heroic revolutionary tradition, take the lead in dynamic and creative innovation of cadres, party members, union members, and association members and all classes of people in the city.
