On the morning of March 26, the People's Committee of Trieu Son district held a conference to implement the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the Project "Innovation to improve the efficiency in management, protection, exploitation and promotion of the value of historical relics, scenic spots - Ba Trieu uprising site (including Nua Mountain - Nua Temple - Am Tien), period 2024-2030.

Historical relic, scenic spot - Ba Trieu uprising site (including Nua Mountain - Nua Temple and Am Tien) in Nua town (Trieu Son), is a complex of special constructions with architectural and ecological landscape values. Famous for being a relic recreating Ba Trieu uprising against the policy of domination, enslavement, and assimilation during the period of Chinese domination, contributing to national independence. This is a place that plays an important role in the tourism development of Trieu Son district and Thanh Hoa province.

Over the past years, the People's Committee of Trieu Son district and the People's Committee of Nua town have made great efforts in managing, promoting the value of the relic, developing tourism to attract visitors to visit and worship. However, the management, protection and exploitation of the potential values ​​of the relic have encountered many difficulties and shortcomings, due to the lack of a comprehensive and long-term plan; the relic has been planned but not implemented well according to the plan, the management of the relic's activities has not met the requirements.

Therefore, Decision No. 5254/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman is an important legal basis to create unity in the management, protection and prevention of acts of encroachment on relics, at the same time attracting investment in the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of relics; effectively exploiting the potentials and strengths of relics to develop tourism.
