On the afternoon of February 28, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Reform (PAR) chaired the conference to review the PAR work in 2024, deploy the PAR work and key tasks of the Home Affairs sector in 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan requested that the Department of Home Affairs should focus on directing and guiding the effective implementation of state management tasks after the arrangement and consolidation of agencies, public service units, and administrative units in the fields under its management, including newly accepted fields: Labor, wages and employment in the enterprise sector, social insurance, meritorious people, gender equality... The Provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Reform should soon develop a plan to inspect the implementation of tasks and organization of activities of agencies and units after the arrangement. The Department of Home Affairs continues to focus on advising on the development of legal documents regulating regimes and policies in the fields of home affairs, labor, war invalids and social affairs, contributing to institutionalization, creating mechanisms and policies to unlock resources...

In 2025, the provincial Department of Home Affairs and relevant agencies will continue to improve the quality of consulting on the development and promulgation of legal documents; strive for all administrative procedures related to enterprises to be carried out online; 100% of procedures are carried out regardless of administrative boundaries within the province; urgently stabilize the organizational apparatus after reorganization associated with streamlining the payroll, restructuring and building a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task; deploy software to measure and evaluate results and work efficiency (KPI) for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the provincial political system.

In 2024, the Department of Home Affairs completed 100% of its tasks. With the advice of the Department of Home Affairs, the province completed the arrangement and organization of administrative agencies and public service units; streamlined the payroll; arranged 12 commune-level administrative units to establish 5 new commune-level administrative units; approved the overall task outline for building Khanh Hoa into a centrally-run city; effectively implemented the human resource development program... In the field of administrative reform, the digitization rate of records and results of administrative procedure settlement of the province on the National Public Service Portal reached 80.82%; the rate of records with electronic results reached 86.51%. In 2024, the whole province will have 40 units ranked as good in administrative reform, 2 units ranked as fair, and no units ranked as average or weak.
On this occasion, 53 collectives and 56 outstanding individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee; 3 collectives received certificates of merit from the Department of Home Affairs.
