Presenting gifts and scholarships to 150 students in difficult circumstances

(ABO) On August 9, the Standing Committee of Chau Thanh District Youth Union, Tien Giang province coordinated with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Veterans Association, District Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center to organize the 15th "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth" program in Chau Thanh district in 2023.

The annual program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth" is built in conjunction with educating ideals, ethics, lifestyle, fostering dreams, and the will to strive for union members, youth, and children in Chau Thanh district. Over 15 years, the program has mobilized over 2.5 billion VND, lighting the path to knowledge for over 3,000 students with difficult circumstances and strong will to rise up in life. At the same time, the program also maximizes social resources, agencies, public service units, and businesses inside and outside the district to care for and support youth and children materially and spiritually.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 150 gifts and scholarships, with a total cost of more than 160 million VND, to disadvantaged students in Chau Thanh district. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Chau Thanh district awarded Certificates of Merit to 17 individuals and 4 groups; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh district awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 individuals with many contributions to the Program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth" in Chau Thanh district, the 15th time in 2023.
