On February 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a program for the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to visit and extend New Year greetings to the secretaries of regional cell parties and the secretaries of typical apartment building party cells on the occasion of the 2024 Lunar New Year in District 7.

District 7 has 5 outstanding secretaries of regional and apartment cell party cells, including: Nguyen Minh Truc, Secretary of Regional Cell Party Cell No. 9 (Phu Thuan Ward Party Committee); Bui Anh Phuong, Secretary of Phu My Residential Apartment Cell Party Cell (Phu My Ward Party Committee); Vu Van Thanh, Secretary of Regional Cell Party Cell 13 (Tan Quy Ward Party Committee); Bui Ngoc Phuong, Secretary of Regional Cell Party Cell 10 (Tan Thuan Tay Ward Party Committee) and Pham Thanh Quyen, Secretary of Regional Cell Party Cell 11 (Tan Phong Ward Party Committee).

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that in recent years, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has had many mechanisms and policies to care for, care for, and create conditions to improve the capacity and promote the role of the Party Committees and Party cell secretaries of residential areas/hamlets in the city. There are allowances according to general regulations and specific characteristics of Ho Chi Minh City for Party Committees and Party cell secretaries of residential areas/hamlets. At the same time, typical educational solutions and commendation of Party cell secretaries of residential areas/hamlets are organized from the locality to the city.

“In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City honored the ward/hamlet Party cell secretaries of the entire city and the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee personally honored each comrade. From 2024, this content will be put into regular operation and decentralized from the grassroots to the city. In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has included the position of ward/hamlet Party cell secretary in the Tet visit program of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City", added comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc.

Reviewing the biographies of the typical secretaries of the regional cell and apartment cell of District 7 as well as their outstanding achievements in local work, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized that the comrades had devoted their years of enthusiasm to their agencies and units and after retirement, they continued to be closely attached to the residential areas where they lived.

"Comrades have made great efforts, promoted the spirit of solidarity, unity, and shared responsibility of the Party cell, Party committee, and the role of leaders with the neighborhood management board, apartment management board, and people's organizations to organize patriotic emulation movements and develop the locality," comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc praised. That has contributed to improving the material and spiritual life of people in residential areas, creating consensus and prestige to carry out the work of organizing and building the Party, contributing to leading people's organizations to be strong.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc praised the efforts of comrades for local development; hoped that secretaries of regional and apartment cell Party cells would continue to build great national unity, mobilize people to properly implement the Party's policies and the State's laws.
