On the morning of April 1, relatives, friends, and fans of Trinh Cong Son gathered at the late musician's home on Pham Ngoc Thach Street (District 3) to commemorate the talented musician on the 23rd anniversary of his death (April 1, 2001 - April 1, 2024).
Ms. Trinh Vinh Trinh (musician Trinh Cong Son's sister) and saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan on the 23rd death anniversary of musician Trinh Cong Son.
After burning incense in memory of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan performed two songs composed by Trinh Cong Son himself.
"In 1992, I met Mr. Son and we had many beautiful memories together. I learned a lot from Mr. Son, from people to music," said saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan.

Friends and fans packed the living room of less than 20 square meters at the late musician Trinh Cong Son's private home.
Many young artists also came to burn incense in memory of the late musician Trinh Cong Son on the 23rd anniversary of his death.
Fulbright University students who are researching the music of musician Trinh Cong Son were also present on the 23rd anniversary of the late musician's death.
"Every year on this day, I come here to burn incense for musician Trinh Cong Son. Although he has passed away, to me, he and his music still live forever," said Mr. Nguyen Hau Chien (55 years old).
House 47C Pham Ngoc Thach (District 3) is where musician Trinh Cong Son lived and worked during the last years of his life. It is known that many items in the late musician's bedroom remain the same, unchanged from 23 years ago.
Musician Trinh Cong Son was born in 1939 in Dak Lak and passed away on April 1, 2001. He left behind more than 600 songs, of which about 236 were popularized to the audience. Many names are associated with his music such as: Khanh Ly, Tuan Ngoc, Hong Nhung, Cam Van, Hong Hanh...
