“Life Practice Workshop” is one of the projects on career experience activities, self-development, and career orientation for the future that VTP Group Center for Training and Development of Young Talents (Viet Tri City) has developed for many years for middle and high school students.
In each field of health, education, commerce, services, art, fashion..., the Center will select the most prestigious units and businesses in the area with highly skilled employees and workers to coordinate and link to organize practice and experience programs for students at that unit.
“Life Practice Workshop” has 5-7 levels from basic to advanced, organized into different courses with many groups of classes, each group has 6-12 students.
From participating in research and analysis sessions to putting into practice the knowledge learned through experiential activities of “seeing with your own eyes - trying with your own hands” at the facility, students will be able to choose 3-5 favorite businesses to intern and work directly for 3-5 days with the guidance and supervision of life skills teachers. After the working period, representatives of the business establishments will evaluate, comment, and score each student according to criteria such as initiative, creativity, positivity, etc.
If students do well, get high scores and are interested in the job, they will continue to practice at the facility for 7-20 days or longer. After 21 days of direct practice at the facility, students will continue to practice life skills, do online exercises, share skills and interesting experiences that they have accumulated through weekly Sunday classes.
Students participate in learning, analyzing, and sharing experiences about industries and professions.
Attracting a large number of students, “Life Practice Workshop” has received many positive responses from parents. Ms. Phan Thi Kim Thoa in Thanh Mieu Ward, Viet Tri City, parent of Hoang Tue Minh (17 years old) shared: “After my son participated in the career experience program of “Life Practice Workshop”, and tried working at a vermicelli and bean curd restaurant, a bakery, a photo studio..., I saw positive changes in my son.
