The Vocational Training Centers, specialized schools and professional departments of the Department of Education and Training have 10 cadres and teachers receiving awards.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the list of 50 outstanding teachers selected to receive the Vo Truong Toan Award in 2023.
The leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that the principles of awarding the Vo Truong Toan Award ensure accuracy, objectivity, honoring outstanding individuals based on specific criteria, ensuring honesty, democracy, publicity, fairness, correct subjects, correct standards through records and evidence.
In case there are 2 individuals who meet the award criteria and are ranked 10th at each level, the Award Council will consider priority conditions including female gender, more seniority in the education sector, higher achievements, and working in remote areas or areas with difficult conditions.
Each individual is only awarded the prize once during their work at general education institutions, vocational training centers, specialized schools, and specialized departments under the Department of Education and Training.
In addition to professional criteria, the Vo Truong Toan award emphasizes the influence of teachers on teaching and learning at the unit and in the district, city.
The Vo Truong Toan Award ceremony for 50 outstanding teachers in 2013 is expected to be held on November 17.
