Honoring 181 outstanding teachers

(Fatherland) - On the morning of November 26, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training organized the Summary Program of the City's Excellent Teacher Competition, Secondary School Level, 2024-2025 school year. There were 181 outstanding teachers of the 3 subjects History and Geography (Geography sub-subject), Civic Education and Physical Education in nearly 700 secondary schools in Hanoi who were awarded at this year's Competition.

The City's Excellent Teacher Competition for Secondary Schools for the 2024-2025 school year took place from October 4 to November 4. The competition had many participants. There were teachers who had been teaching for nearly 30 years, reaching professional maturity and pedagogical sophistication; there were young teachers who had not been in the profession for long but designed and presented creative lessons that left a deep impression. Many teachers also held the position of Union President and Council Secretary. Many teachers had very difficult circumstances but with the determination to overcome difficulties, rose up to demonstrate their talent and pedagogical mettle.

Each teacher is truly an example of overcoming difficulties, self-study and creativity. The participation of teachers from disadvantaged schools, special schools and private schools is a very encouraging signal for the emulation movement of teaching innovation of the Capital's education and training sector.

In the direction work, the Department of Education and Training especially commended 09 units, namely the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Xuan, Cau Giay, Dong Da, Long Bien, Ba Dinh, Gia Lam, Thanh Tri, Hoan Kiem, and Hoai Duc, for their close, resolute, responsible, and effective direction, achieving excellent results.

Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training congratulated the teachers who won First Prize in the competition.

Participating in this year's City Competition, Ba Dinh District Secondary School has 06 teachers from 06 secondary schools in the district. Each teacher participates in two competitions: Practicing teaching a lesson according to the teaching plan of the host school at the time of the competition and presenting an educational method that contributes to improving the quality of teaching and educating students of the individual at the school where the teacher is working. In each competition, the teachers have invested in both content and form of innovation and creativity in choosing solutions suitable for the psychology and age of the students.

06/06 teachers of Ba Dinh district participating in the City level all won prizes with 03 First prizes and 03 Second prizes. Specifically, teacher Chu Thanh Hai (Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School - Geography), teacher Le Thi Lan (Phuc Xa Secondary School - Civic Education), teacher Nguyen Trung Thanh (Giang Vo Secondary School - Physical Education) won First prizes; teacher Tran Minh Dung (Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School - Civic Education), teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan (Thanh Cong Secondary School - Physical Education), teacher Doan Thi Thom (Thang Long Secondary School - Geography) won Second prizes. The teachers of Ba Dinh district participating in the City level competition are worthy of being typical teachers of the Capital.

Along with that, the education sector of Ba Dinh district received a certificate of merit "Achieving excellent achievements in directing and organizing the City's Excellent Teacher Competition at the secondary school level for the 2024-2025 school year", continuing to maintain achievements for many consecutive years, Ba Dinh district is always in the leading group of the City in terms of excellent teacher and excellent student competition results.

The competition for excellent secondary school teachers is held annually, not only to honor teachers who are good at their professional skills but also as one of the solutions to improve the quality of the team.
