Although there is still more than a month until Tet, university students across the country have already finished preparing for family reunions.

Like every year, universities will announce the Lunar New Year holiday schedule 1-2 months in advance so that students can proactively arrange their time to return home. Depending on the teaching plan, each school will have a different number of Lunar New Year holidays, some schools will have more than 1 month off but some will have less than 10 days off.

On December 3, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs announced the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Accordingly, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations will have the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 from Saturday, January 25 (ie December 26, year of Giap Thin) to Sunday, February 2 (ie January 5, year of At Ty).
